With February rapidly coming to a close and not much moving around or through the farm i still find myself photographs the duck life.

Nice weather for ducks
In what seems an eternity, i actually managed to spend a day at the farm without getting wet!!!! Shame the wind kept howling through the farm though. Most of the small birds kept there heads down and apart from a daredevil peregrine no other raptors appeared. So here are some ducks and a gull

At the farm again
Was having a good birding day with Frank and Roy today. Not much of major interest was around but enough to keep us mildly entertained. Still haven't seen a Tree Sparrow, though my two companions did!!!! But with the onset of age im sure there eyes were playing tricks on them. After a while the sun disappeared and we had the most amazing sky i have seen in ages. Take a look at the pics

What
What!!! That was my reaction when i realised that i had managed to migrate nearly all my photos to the junk!!!! Managed to get them all back though - phew
Started my year list today at Beddington Farmlands only managed 43 birds, which is quite poor. And due to total mismanagement of the environment no sign of any tree sparrows!!!!! This first picture shows the scene as it was a couple of years back..
After the walk
More pylons than birds
